Homework: Finding Type
I believe this type is Script.  Clearly, it was used for the tissue brand Kleenex.  I think it is appropriate for its purpose because it clearly states the brand and is simple but adds something more because it's not just plain font.
I think this font is Decorative although I'm not 100% sure.  This was used for the cover of one of the books in the Harry Potter series and I think it is used well.  Although it is difficult to imagine the book without this font, I think it works because it incorporates aspects of the book in it.  It isn't an ordinary font and the "P" is in the shape of the famous lightning bolt scar on Harry's forehead.
The font on the cover of this book is San Serif.  It is used for a book of poems and I think it is appropriate for its purpose.  Maybe it could've been more decorative although for this book I don't think that's necessary because most are familiar with the poet and there's not much need for an elaborate, eye-catching cover.
I'm pretty sure this is Oldstyle, but it may be Modern.  It's used on a bass and I think it is good for its purpose.  It's simple but has a level of sophistication that suits the bass nicely.
This type is Script and is used on a copy of a book: Lolita.  I think this suits the book very well because the background of the book is that the narrator is writing the story down from an institution.  He was also obsessed with "Lolita."  One could imagine him writing his victim's name down in his own handwriting.
This Slab Serif and it is used in my planner.  I think it's formal and works for a school planner.

Questions and Summary: School of Rock

What are five words/images you associate with your club?
Words/Images: Wednesday, guitars, plaid shirts, Room 1140 and guitar picks.

What do you think the purpose of the club is?
To spread rock and roll and teach people how to rock songs by playing the instruments.

What is the best part of the club?
The best part is jamming every Wednesday to the Smiths.

Is there any motto or are there any principles that you can think of or that you practice in School of Rock?
Similar to the motto of the School of Rock movie, to have fun and learn about music.

The general goal of this club seems to be to provide a space for students to practice or learn a variety of instruments after school. Students can be around people with similar goals/musical interests, and this might lead to collaborations or performances for the School Showcase later on.
Having been in the club myself for a brief period in tenth grade, I know that guitars and pianos were some of the main instruments used there. For my logo, I'll probably try to incorporate one of these into it. Seeing as the club member answering the questions associates the guitar with the club for the most part, I might choose to focus on that. I might incorporate something about Wednesdays into the logo as that's the day they meet, or just use/create a motto to go onto the logo.

Logos

One logo I'm familiar with is the Nikon logo.  I've owned their brand of cameras in the past and have one currently as well which is part of the reason I know of it.  With its bright yellow background and bolded words that read the name of the brand, this logo is simple and recognizable.  I think that most people who see it know what it stands for and overall, it sticks.

A logo I wasn't familiar with was the veterinarian one seen below.  This one is slightly more complex but still has a simple background made up of a single color that's recognizable along with one word and an image.  In total, there are only two colors and I think having minimal colors and shapes is often a good thing for a logo because it makes it easier to remember and recognize.  One can easily tell that this logo is pet-related because of the silhouettes of the animals that neatly fit into one another.  So, I think this logo is successfully done.Veterinaire by Caoline Remy
